Reading, Watching, Listening

As I nurse my old guy back to health and help him to navigate the world without the benefit of eyesight, these are the things I'm reading, watching and listening to to comfort my soul.

Oh Anna.  I can't say enough about how much I love and adore Anna Quindlen.  I have no idea why it's taken so long for me to read her memoir but I'm so happy that it's finally in my hands.  I'm about halfway through and I already know I will go back and reread it many times.  Anna, I bow down.

Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake

I'm not watching anything, really.  The list of movies I want to see is crazy long but I am never able to go to the movies.  And I don't watch much TV.  So I'd love some suggestions. What are you guys watching?

I recently discovered The Piano Guys via my Mumford & Sons Pandora station.  If you like Adele, you will LOVE this.  I find is so relaxing and, yes, good for my soul.  They put a classical spin on new hits.  I love The Piano Guys ~ do you?

And, even though it's been overplayed now, I am still madly in love with this song.  It always makes me happy when I hear it.  Sophie often has to ask me to stop singing it.  Oops!

That's it from here.  Hubbell is doing great!  I will possibly post a new photo later on. His wound looks "scary" (Sophie's choice of word) right now and I have a lot of respect for Hubbell's privacy.  When he's looking dapper again, I'll provide an update.  Thanks for all of your kinds words on my last post ~ brought tears to my eyes.  I'm so happy I have some real dog lovers reading my blog!!!
