Sometimes I see ideas/design that are too good NOT to share. Hope to find these and share them more often. They give me hope and make me happy!

This week's share is about disappearing packaging. Oh, how I would LOVE to not have to throw away packaging. I'd buy these products. Wouldn't you?
I read this article and felt truly inspired. Some people are so brilliant! Makes me want to come up with some of my own ideas!!!
PS ~ While we're speaking loosely about trash, Alain and I watched the documentary Waste Land last night. Has anyone seen it? It was SO AMAZING! The link here has a short video about the movie. Check it out! Vik Muniz is truly an inspiration!
Awesome post, Audrey, and I will see this movie when it comes out. Packaging drives me nuts! Especially when something is done up to look way bigger than it is, simply to look big. I am a recycler in capital letters! Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteDear Audrey,
ReplyDeleteWe try to recycle everything that we can. I haven't told you about climbing Panola Mountain, and seeing Stone Mountain on the horizon but seeing a larger mountain closer to the airport in Atlanta...we were told that it was a landfill!
(I have been called a Treehugger too, like that's a bad thing!!)
Hi Kay & Louise, the movie Waste Land is available on Netflix, if you have it. I'm telling you, it's an amazing story and I was quite touched by it. Kay, it will remind you of that landfill mountain!!! Glad I'm not the only treehugger around these parts!!! As always, thanks so much for visiting and leaving comments. That means a lot to me!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! We try to recycle as much as possible -- it's sad that there's still tons of large packaging in all the shops; ultimately, I think it's all the excessive materialism and consumerism that has to be addressed, an entire global mindset that needs to be changed. Not easy when money's involved :(
ReplyDeleteAudrey I hope you had a nice Valentine's Day!!
