S.N.O.W.

Let me just tell you this.....we are snow people.

When we wake up with an inch and a half of snow and no school, what do we do?

We put on all of our crazy, mismatched snow gear and walk to breakfast.  How lucky we are to live close enough to walk to some fairly decent restaurants, the grocery store, Target, even a movie theater!  Our walk was really nice. The air was crisp, cold and clean.  There were very few people out.  Everything was exciting and new......the crunching of snow under our boots, the boot prints we left behind, watching cars slide around on the icy road, being in a fairly empty restaurant.

Even though we're snow lovers, we know it's not to everyone's liking!  For those of you here in the Southeast especially, where nice snow is a rarity, we hope you're staying safe, cozy and warm!

PS ~ One of these pictures was taken for you, Deb.  I'm sure you can guess which one!  XO

  1. LOVE the stacked rocks covered in snow! Brrrrr! As you can imagine, I'm not a fan of snow and/or being cold. I think it's all those years of living here in the HEAT. I love that you guys got to get out and enjoy the snow together, and that photo of your adorable little Clara with her little snow hat on just melts my heart! xo

  2. Hi Audrey! I've been following all the weather news on the South. I'm glad that your family is safe and warm. I've been thinking of those Atlanta kid lets stuck overnight on school buses and in school. I think school bus drivers deserve a special place in heaven! Actually all the amazing people who work with our wonderful children every day. Is that picture of Clara sweet!!!!! Love the one of you and Sophie too ~ well, love all the photos. Thanks for sharing your snow joy! *Hugs*
