Inspired by this pin, I've been busy creating tissue paper flowers over the past week or so. It's excruciatingly slow-going. This pile of crafting supplies has been sitting on my chair-side table for a while now. Every day or so, you'll see a new flower added to the flower pile.
Finally I've made enough to make an impression. Yesterday they were all piled up on the table and they were so pretty that I had to run and grab the camera.
I was inspired. I realized my little rainbow chaser would LOVE these flowers.....and, I couldn't help myself, I had to start arranging them and taking some photos for Sophie. They're so pretty.....
And then I realized there is no end to the ways you can style and use these very simple and inexpensive decorations. Inspired by this post, I created this little display. For the record, I liked it so much that it's still there on our mantle.....making me smile each time I see it!
Have I mentioned how much I love party planning?
Beautiful flowers Audrey!!! So much work and colors!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these flowers! Just think how great these would look for a baby shower, or a wedding shower, or a birthday party or all in red, white & blue for the 4th of JULY!
ReplyDeleteHi Abu & Kay~ they ended up being so terrific at the party. I'd make them again and again because they do have so many uses....
ReplyDeleteThose look beautiful! For real, much better in the details than mine were :) You have a rainbow lover, too? We just had a rainbow themed birthday for my three year old...so much fun to do!
